New Riding magazine published by Silla from the Gaylord Chapter, it will be in Classic on a regular basis, you can subscribe yearly for $25.00.


KLT radio station is promoting bike night thru out the summer on Tuesday nights at various Northern Michigan locations, Peego’s is this Tuesday.


This Saturday, May 9th is the annual progressive dinner, this is a rain or shine event.


June 27th the MDA ride to Houghton Lake, if several members want to participate, a ride will be organized, please contacts Rich Brown.


Vicki would like to thank the event coordinators Roberta & Char for putting together these years’ events to lots of fun riding destinations. The dinner rides will start @ 6:30 and the destination rides @ 7; 00 pm, all leaving from Classic.


Mike O’Connor will be presenting our Chapters bid for the 2010 Michigan rally on May 30th in Lansing. We hope to get it here in TC for next year. This year, Lansing hosts the first state rally for Michigan in August.


Mike O’Connor talked about his & Sherry’s ride to Nashville last week.


Mike is working on the poker run for Roar to Shore; he will need volunteers to man the stops.


 Five Million Mile Monday 6/29 – there will be an AM & PM organized ride.


Activities for May & June were discussed


Vicki mentioned that the helmet law for the State of Mi. is up for debate.


Tara Baesch / Co-coordinator for the Father Fred benefit spoke about this years ride & activities.

Breakfast will be at the VFW again, this year they will donate all of the proceeds less their expenses to the Father Fred Organization. The issue of closing downtown Front Street was mention to the group, and the signatures that were need to do this. The Chapter voted and they would like to continue having the poker run end on Front Street if we are able to get all of the needed signatures.


A new member ride is scheduled next Wednesday @ 7:00 pm leaving Classic.


Member Larry church spoke about a benefit ride on May 30th – “Snowball Express” leaving Great Lakes Harley in Bay City to West Branch, they will raise money for a fallen soldier.
