Chapter meeting @ Peego’s

June 4th, 2009

7:05 pm

Mike O’Connor is now the Director of the Chapter.

Mike can‘t organize the poker run for the Roar to Shore event; he will be having surgery soon.  Attendance is way down for this event, so Mike will send them a few routes for self guided rides.

6/29/09 is HD’s Million Mile Monday, we have two riChapter rides setup for this day, and AM & PM ride.

If you plan on attending the MDA ride, please email Mike O’Connor.

Past Director of the Chapter, Mike Bickle, is putting together another Rodeo event, August 7-9, at the VFW in Interlochen to benefit “Operation Injured Soldier”.  He could use some volunteers to help with security.

Admission will be 20.00, and they will have a variety of motorcycle games.

Mike & Lew went down last Sunday to Okemos and gave their presentation bid for the 2010 State Rally. Escanaba was the winner, they had reasonable room rates, the fair grounds donated space, and their Chamber of Commerce was also donating money.

Mike thanked everyone that participated in getting the presentation ready for this bid.

Event pin winners were announced, see the June newsletter for names.

The May Progressive Dinner had a poor turn out, only two were brave enough to ride, the other 13 drove. Please try to show up at these events, regardless of bad weather,

Father Fred volunteer signup sheets were passed around.  A planning meeting will be held at 6:00pm 6/16, before the business meeting.

Roberta asked that members print legibly on the sign-up sheets, so she can tell who has attended each event.

50/50 winners – Scott Hocking & Andy Karnowski

Classic Gift cert. winner – transfers to next meeting – Steve Szasz wasn’t wearing “Classic” attire.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm
