7:10pm meeting called to order by Vicki Beam

 

New Member announced – Chris Uray – he is now on the sales team @ Classic Motor Sports.

 

Saturday April 12th  - Refresher course will be setup at Benzie H.S. all riders are encouraged to attend. Leaving Classic at 10:00 am to Benzie, afterwards they will head over to the Sherman’s for the annual swap meet that starts @ 2:00pm.

 

We still need more members to show interest in the Advanced Rider course that Mike O’Connor is trying to plan. So far he only has 5 members interested, they need at least 10 to make this happen.

 

Brimley weekend June 13th & 14th – Reservations are now being accepted. You must give them the name of Bob Oliverius, otherwise they will tell you they are booked. The hotel will hold rooms for our Chapter till May 15th, and then they will open them up for other Chapters.

 

105th Anniversary Trip to Milwaukee August 28th –30th:

Each Chapter is allowed to have one rider + passenger ride in the parade to carry the Chapter flag. If you are interested, e-mail Steve Purkiss. The chapter will draw one winner and an alternate at a future chapter meeting.

Steve Purkiss is requesting that anyone going to Milwaukee that wants others to ride with, e-mail him your travel plans, he will post them on the website. Hopefully we can get several groups together to ride out there and back.

 

Activities Officer: Jim Beam ~ 4/10 dinner @ Hooter’s, 4/12 Refresher Course @ Benzie 10:00am/Swap meet @ Sherman’s 2:00pm, 4/17 dinner @ Mackinaw Brewing, 4/19 Wine Tour 1:00-5:00pm.

 

LOH: Laurie Vandermeulen ~ Spa night planned for 5/23 @ Rhonda Elliot’s – time to be announced later. 5/6 – dinner @ 5:30 pm Wilderness Crossings then line dancing from 7:00-9:00 pm.

 

New Member Liason: Eric Fisher ~ still need members to sign up for t-shirts. He only has about 50 that want to order – we have to get 150 to place the order. Pins will be 10.00/ea. Name badges – he has 8 people that want them, has to have 12 before he can place the order.

 

Treasurer: Lew Kirchner ~ Finances are fine.

 

Mike Cole ~ Trout Festival ride 4/26 – Breakfast @9:30 am at T.C. Christian H.S., we leave there at 11:00 to head to Kalkaska.

 

Tara Baesch ~ Father Fred: logo submissions need to be in by April 15th. Chapter will vote on it at the May Chapter meeting. Volunteer meeting is scheduled 4/21 at 7:00pm at the district library. We are looking for volunteers and sponsors for the event.
