November 6th Chapter Meeting

Peegeo’s 7:00 pm.

Mike O’Connor lead the meeting, Vicki was not feeling well.

Jim Beam passed out event pins that were earned by various members. He still had old appreciation certificates from last years Salvation Army food drive, those were passed out as well. He also reviewed the Nov. calendar of events that are scheduled.

Peego’s has given Jim 20% off coupons, these can be used for any night except meeting nights, see Jim if you would like any.

Introduction of new members – none attending, although Larry Church had his son with him, and he was introduced.

Christmas Party Dec 6th – Eric F. has tickets available – 41 sold so far.  Ticket sales will end on Dec 1st, to give Holiday Inn a head count. If he is not at the store, the other salesmen know where the tickets are for purchase.

Special guests ~ Dave Gibbons (& finance) from the Salvation Army – they came to promote the food drive that is scheduled for Nov 8th & 9th. He said this drive brings in the biggest contribution of food that they get for the year. Last years food collect lasted them well into June. He would like to thank the whole Chapter for their many years of service to this event.

Raggs had volunteer sheets for the drive and still needed to fill a few slots. The after party on Saturday night is scheduled to take place at the Wild Pony starting about 6:30pm.

He needs to find the one banner that is missing for the trailer. Tara B. wrote the PSA’s for the radio stations that Vicki was on to promote the food drive.

This will be the last Chapter meeting for the year; there won’t be one in Dec.

The next newsletter will be for Dec/Jan.

John Lefler asked for a couple of volunteers to man the registration table at the Christmas party. Char & Gary Potter along with Mike & Chris Lake volunteered.

It was suggested that if you bring an item for the silent auction that you put a retail value on it, so members know what to aim for.

Mike O’Connor brought up the idea of automatically adding 15% gratuity to the bills at Peegeo’s to take care of the tipping problem we seem to be having. He was going to get with Vicki and George to discuss the idea.

Brian Z is stepping down from Head Road Captain... He spoke about the free snowmobile safety class that he is having at Peegeo’s on 11/22 from 9-3.

Steve P – webmaster mention that he has a spot on the website that lists for sale items, e-mail him if you would like to add something.

We have a few officer positions that we need to fill for next year, these need to be confirmed by Dec 6th, to be announced at the Christmas Party.

50/50 winners – John Stewart & Chris Lake.

Classic gift cert winner – rolled over – John Stewart did not have a Classic t-shirt on.

Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
